These records were written on a blank flyleaf in an old Bible printed in Nuremburg Germany in 1788 and transcribed by a Snyder family descendant.
This day the 11th of December 1787, my son Michael was born. His baptismal witnesses were my brother, Michael Schneider, and grandmother, Maria Fetter. They gave him the name Michael.
This day the 6th of May, 1790, a son was born. The baptismal witnesses were Jacob Fetter and Catherine Huber. They gave him the name of Jacob.
This day, the 9th of January 1792, my son DeWalt was born. The baptismal witnesses were his father and mother. They gave him the name DeWalt.
This day, the 4th of December 1798, my daughter Catherine was born. The baptismal witnesses were the grandfather, Christian Fetter and grandmother, Maria Fetter. They gave her the name Catherine.
This the 12th day of February 1796, my daughter Maria Margaretta was born. The baptismal witnesses were the father and mother. They gave her the name of Maria Margaretta.
Peter Schneider was born the 14th day of August in the year 1797.
Henry Schneider was born the 2nd day of August 1799.
Margaretta was born July 13, 1801
