John Clark, aged 70 years, an old and well-known pioneer citizen of this section, died at his home in Wichita Falls this morning according to messages received here by his neice, Mrs. Mollie Vance. The body will be brought to Washington County for burial in the McCord Cemetery between Elkins and Durham.
Mr. Clark, besides his niece, Mrs. Vance, has many relatives in Washington County. Three sisters live in the vicinity of Durham, and there are many other relatives in that neighborhood.
Three sons also survive, being Lon, August, and Ambrose, all of near Wichita Falls. Exact buneral arrangements have not yet been announced.
