Calvin Paul Briese was born to Paul Henry and Violenta Walker Briese on January 15,1925.
Calvin married Marie Ann Negri on January 15, 1946 (his 21st birthday) in Los Angeles, California. To this union were born five children:

Frank Calvin b. July 26, 1955

Calvin suffered Rheumatic Fever while serving in the Navy which weakened his heart and led to his early death at the age of 52. Continuing the tradition of giving the last measure of devotion in service to our county, his son, Marvin Paul, died at the age of 50 from complications due to his exposure to Agent Orange in the Vietnam War.
