Milton Powers, while breaking on a lumber train, owing to some fault in the brake, fell from the car, striking on the rail beneath the wheel and while he succeeded in drawing himself from the track, yet not until 3 of the cars passed over his legs in as many different places.
He lived about one-half hour. Formerly a resident of this town, he leaves many near and dear friends, a wife, one child, his mother, 2 sisters and a brother, George, who lives at Groton, South Dakota.
