Double funeral services for Edward Marion Brummer, Jr.. four day old son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward M. Brummer of Effingham, and Doris Carolyne Brummer, twelve year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph H. Brummer of Effingham, were held this morning at 10am. Burial will be held at St. Anthony Cemetery.

Publication was dated 7 April 1949. It was probably in the Effingham Daily News, Effingham, Illinois.

Note: They died in the 1949 fire of St. Anthony Hospital. It was a very bad fire. 75 people perished in this fire.
