Albert was born in Fillmore Co, Nebraska in 1900 and around 1902, he moved with his family to Garfield Co, Oklahoma where he grew up. Unfortunately, his father Allen died a few years after they arrived. Later Albert married Edith Keepers in Oklahoma and together they raised five children Joyce, Robert, Dorothy, Clell and William.
After his mother died in 1944, Bert and Edith moved to Alameda Co, California with their three sons Robert, Clell and William. He remained there until after his wife Edith's death in 1957. Bert then moved to Phoenix Arizona to join his son Bill and remained there until he died in 1964 of malnutrition due to Pancreatic cancer.
