Jeanne Cheverton Dunn, of Salt Lake City, UT,died at her home of causes incident to age. She was born in Long Beach, CA, a daughter of Cecil F. and Vivian P. Cheverton. She married Paul H. Dunn on Feb. 27, 1946.

Surviving are her three daughters, Janet (Gary) Gough, Marsha (Jeril) Winget, and Kellie (Mike) McIntosh; nine grandchildren, Carolyn, Travis, and Tyler Gough; Tamie Winget Peters, Brad (Malissa), and Mark (Crystal) Winget; Brandon (Haley), Adam, and Jonathan McIntosh; 16 great grandchildren; two brothers, Richard D. and David P. (Linda) Cheverton and sister, Loraine C. (Ron) Lacey.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Paul H. Dunn, and grandson, Jeremy B. Winget. As daughter of a professor and college president, her early years were spent in many academic settings where she came to appreciate and value education and culture. She attended Chapman College and Texas Christian University. She learned the importance of hard work and was an avid reader and seeker of knowledge. She joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and later traveled extensively throughout the world with her husband in his calling as a member of the First Quorum of Seventy. She spent many years pursuing family history and enjoyed visiting family sites and corresponding with distant relatives. In 1968 Elder and Sister Dunn were called to preside over the New England Mission in Cambridge, MA. They served faithfully together for three years, loving and encouraging 400 missionaries. She personally responded to their needs and helped solidify their testimonies as she traveled and spoke throughout the mission. Besides family history, she had a passion for her grandchildren, gardening, cooking, home decorating, Victorian miniatures, reading, writing, current events, and good music. The hallmarks of her life were service to her family and her faith and testimony of the Savior.
