Ulysses Abercrombie July 11, 1947- November 14, 2014 Seale, AL- Mr. Ulysses "Abby" Abercrombie, 67, of 232 Pine Haven Street, Seale, AL passed Friday, November 14, 2014 at his residence. Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. EST, Saturday, November 22, 2014 at Providence Baptist Church, Seale (Lato), AL with Rev. Felix Worthen, pastor, officiating and Rev. Samuel Davis, eulogist. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation is today from 1 - 8 p.m. EST according to Taylor Funeral Home, Inc. Mr. Abercrombie was born July 11, 1947 in Russell County, AL to the late Willie Abercrombie and the late Mattie Jones Abercrombie. He was a 1969 graduate of Mt. Olive High School and had been employed as a Master Painter with Peach Auto and Body, Columbus, GA. Survivors include his wife, Glenda Abercrombie of Seale, AL; two children, Aundrea Cherese (Levi) Mabien-Marshall of Gurnee, IL and Ulysses Brian Abercrombie of Seale, AL; one brother, James (Dorothea) Abercrombie of Columbus, GA; six grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
