Frances Wolf Crock, 92, of Carlisle, formerly of Washington, D.C., Philadelphia and New Castle, Del., died Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2011 at Claremont Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Carlisle.

Born May 9, 1918, in Fairfax, Va., she was a daughter of the late George P. and Belle Graham Wolf and the widow of William A. Crock Jr.

She was a graduate of the University of Maryland and a member of Kappa Delta sorority. Frances was a social worker for the State of Delaware. She was a volunteer at the Carlisle Hospital. She was a member of Second Presbyterian Church, Carlisle.

Surviving are her son, William A. Crock III of Baltimore; one daughter, Pamela Hendrickson of Lewes, Del.; and three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Anne Flatley.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday at Second Presbyterian Church, 528 Garland Drive, Carlisle, with the Rev. Jeffrey W. Gibeluis and the Rev. Jennifer J. McKenna officiating. Private burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Churchtown.
