Obit - Tacoma Daily Ledger 24 Jun 1903 Pg 6 - C.C.Field, city treasurer of Puyallup, died yesterday at 5 o'clock p.m. at St. Joseph's hospital, after a long illness from a complication of diseases. He had but recently been taken to the hospital.
Mr. Field was born at Middleboro, Vt., but was one of the oldest residents of Puyallup, having settled there twenty years ago. He was for many years postmaster of the town and has always been a prominent and much respected citizen.
There survive him his widow and 4 children, 3 daughters and a son. Mrs. T.C. O'Farell, of Orting, Alma and Clara Field, and Charles C Field, jr.
The ceased was 56 years of age and a member of the the G.A.R. Funeral arrangements will be completed today.
