Entered into eternal rest on the morning of April 27, 2010, Patricia Sanford Lemly Chilcote, preceded in death by her first husband, O. Reid Lemly and widow of Bruce C. Chilcote. Residence, Johns Island, South Carolina.

The relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at the graveside in Live Oak Memorial Gardens, Saturday, May 1, 2010, at twelve noon. The family will receive friends at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL Saturday morning from eleven o'clock until time of service. Flowers will be accepted or memorials to Heartland Hospice, 1064 Gardner Road, Charleston, SC 29407.

Patricia was born on May 29, 1930, in Charleston, South Carolina, daughter of the late John Benjamin Sanford and the late Pattie Pearl Byers Sanford.

She was a graduate of Ashley Hall and Elon College where she earned a BA degree in Music. Mrs. Chilcote was a retired owner of Shalimar Motel, Antiques, Greenhouses and Pat's Exotic Birds.

Surviving are two daughters, Lisa McNamara and husband Kenneth, Patti Elliott; two sons, Reid Sanford Lemly, Clay Sanford Lemly; and five grandchildren.
