Marjorie L. (Pepper) Antonelli passed away unexpectedly at Melrose-Wakefield Hospital on August 22, 2009. She was 81 years of age. Marjorie was born in Boston to the late Eric & Marjorie (Powell) Pepper, raised in the North End and attended school in Boston. Mrs. Antonelli lived in Melrose for 35 years and the past 10 years in Stoneham. She worked at the Transitron Company in Melrose for a few years and then as a seamstress for an East Boston clothing manufacturers for over 30 years. Marjorie enjoyed cooking, music, horses, watching her son the jockey in races and dancing, where she won several dance contests. Mrs. Antonelli enjoyed entertaining and loved to design dresses and clothing. She was a past commander of the Ladies Auxiliary @ the VFW Harold O'Young Post 2394 in Melrose. Marjorie was the beloved wife of the late Louis Antonelli. Loving mother of Joseph C. Tutella II of FL, Rocco J. Antonelli & his partner Theresa Walsh of Saugus and the late Louis A. Antonelli. Grandmother of Joseph C. Tutela III of Milford, Anthony & Philip Tutela both of FL, Christopher & Jennifer Antonelli both of Everett & Philip Antonelli of Chelmsford. Sister of Emerson Pepper of CA, Muriel Mucci of Stoneham & the late Warren & Emerson Pepper. Longtime companion of Al Pagliarulo of Medford. Also survived by many great grandchildren, godchildren, nieces, nephews & friends. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St. Melrose, on Thursday, August 27th at 8AM. Funeral Mass in St. Mary's Church, Herbert St. Melrose, at 9AM. Relatives & friends invited. Visiting hours Wed. 2-4 & 7-9PM. Interment in Wyoming Cemetery Melrose.
