Kennath Eugene Howell, 63, of Pavo passed away on Tuesday, June 26, 2012 at the Langdale Hospice House after a lengthy illness. Kennath was born on March 26, 1949 in Panama City, Florida to the late J. B. and Norma Howell and was a 1968 graduate of Lowndes High School. He was a self employed entrepreneur and had many successful businesses. Kennath had a passion for old cars, traveling, the outdoors and NASCAR. His hobbies included collecting art and antiques. He was a faithful member of New Life Community Church in Lake Park. Kennath's family and friends will always remember his compassion for others and that he lived life to the fullest.

He leaves behind the "love of his life" of ten years, Lynn Revill of Hahira, his lifelong friend, Dewey "Judge" Cofield of Valdosta, three daughters, Jennifer Nieves and boyfriend, Juan Pena of Moultrie, Jessica and her husband, Jason Porter of Rockmart, GA, Kenzie Howell of Palm Coast, Fla., grandchildren, Loren Land of Quitman, Leah Nieves, Lezlie Nieves, Kennath Nieves all of Palm Coast, Fla., Jacie Porter, Joie Porter both of Rockmart, GA., four sisters and three brothers in law, Barbara and Jim Hughes of Hahira, Francine and John King of Stockbridge, GA., Brenda Diah of Hahira, Norma Jean and Steve Monroe of Valdosta, his brother and sister in law, Jerry and Angie Howell of Valdosta, several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Brady Earl Howell. Kennath will also be greatly missed by his rescue dog, Josey.
