EMMA MARIE (ALLARD) LANDON was born to Emma Malvina Marie (Crompe)Allard and Samuel Allard on October 6, 1885 in Gervais Township, Polk County, Minnesota. Now referred to as Red Lake County, Minnesota.

Marguerite Anna Allard (step-sister)Emma graduated from Grand Forks High School in Grand Forks, North Dakota in 1906.
Her family eventually moved to the community of Allard, Benton County, Washington. This area was later made into a part of the Hanford Site.
Later she graduated from Washington State Normal School. Referred to later as Central Washington University.
She married Mayim Fournier.
She was teaching when she meant her second husband John Vincent Landon.
They married on November 28, 1918 in Seattle, Washington. They didn't have any children together. However, Emma assisted in raising three of John's boys from his previous marriage.
Emma Landon had dementia late in life and passed away on April 2, 1977 at the West Washington State Hospital near Steilacoom in Pierce County, Washington.
