Penelope or Neppie as she was called, was the daughter of Joel b. 1807 N.C.and Sarah Talkington Dyer b.1820 Ky. Neppie and her twin brother Joel had at least 11 brothers and sisters. Neppie had two children by her first husband John O. Hardin; Albert Harrison Hardin and daughter John. O."Johncye" Hardin Webster. Her second husband was Rev. Joseph P. Callaway.
