Doris J. Biever of Waukesha, formerly of Dousman, died Monday, Aug. 8, 2011, at the Virginia Health & Rehabilitation Center at age of 88. She was born Jan. 7, 1923, in the town of Genesee, a daughter of Thomas and Marietta (nee Williams) Jones.
She worked at Wern Farms for many years as a bookkeeper, where she met her husband, Everett "Tony" Biever. They were united in marriage Aug. 23, 1947, in Genesee; he preceded her in death Aug. 4, 2011.
Doris was a 25-year charter member of Highview Presbyterian Church and a previous member of Ottawa Presbyterian Church.
She will be sadly missed by her son, Tom (Deborah) Biever of Waukesha; granddaughter, Leah (Dennis) Hohisel of Waukesha; and her great-grandchildren, Connor and Jackson Hohisel of Waukesha. She is further survived by her sister, Hazel (Norman) Johnson of Delafield; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Barbara Hargrave and Helen Jones, and her parents.
Visitation and services will be combined with her husband Everett "Tony" Biever's services, who died Thursday. Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. Until the 3 p.m. Memorial service today, Aug. 9, at Highview Presbyterian Church, S50-W33042 Highway GE, Dousman. Interment will immediately follow at Salem Cemetery in Wales.
