H. (He detested the name Hosford so only used H.) Leroy Hood was born on March 12th, 1907 and passed on December 4th, 1982. Leroy later shared a birthday with his Granddaughter Cynthia who was also born on March 12th.

Leroy left behind his beautiful wife Emeline, two sons Ronald and Gary (and their wives Dianna and Linda), and five grandchildren, Bethina, Christina, Carina, Cynthia, Allen, and Denea.

Leroy was an avid music lover and had a huge collection of fine music that ranged from classical to big band to Elvis and even some modern rock. Leroy retired from the Foley Caterpillar Tractor Company in Wichita, KS and moved to Washington, OK to live on his wife's family farm. Leroy worked part time in the facilities department for Oklahoma University in Norman. Due to complications with Diabetes Leroy and his wife later moved to Norman, OK which would be his final farewell before his passing in 1982.

Leroy is missed and forever loved.
