He was a U.S. Navy World War II veteran and member of VFW Post #797. He was also a member of OCAW Local #423. He retired from Texaco after thirty nine years of service as a machinist.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Rexine Beaumont.
Survivors include his daughter, Sharon Beaumont Engman; son, Gary Beaumont; sister, Pearl Alford; brother, Johnny Beaumont and wife, Earline; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
