Memorial services and burial will be held in Council Bluffs, Iowa, for Robert L. Hamann, 65, of Cherokee Village, who died Saturday at his residence. Tri-County Cherokee Chapel of Hardy is in charge of arrangements.
A native of Persia, Iowa, he was an air traffic controller for the federal government. He was also a veteran of the Air Force. He was preceded in death by his wife Barbara and a brother and sister.
Surviving are a daughter, Robbin Palm of Des Moines, Iowa; a son Robert J. Hamann of Des Moines; a brother, Orville Hamann of Iowa; three sisters, Betty Ann Meadows and Louetta Peters of Council Bluffs, Iowa, and Alma Jane Girton of Phoenix, Ariz.; and three grandchildren.
