Mathew Devin "Mat" Fike, 24, departed this life and began his life in the next on, Friday, October 11, 2013, of respiratory failure. Mat worked for Creative Drink Ware Manufacturing. Mat was recently promoted to shift supervisor.
He is survived by his four year old son, Mason Fike; mother, Nieta Alford and husband Wayne; father, Paul Fike and wife Darcy, siblings, Chase Cleveland, Kyle Alford, Michael Schneider and Janis Alford; grandparents, Joy Ray, Mary Coburn and William (Bill) Furnell; two uncles, five aunts and eleven cousins.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 18, 2013, at 11:00 a.m., at Lakeland Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens.
A celebration of Mat's life will also be held on Friday at TBA Church, 1815 E. 540-A, Lakeland, Florida 33813, from 6:00 p.m. until 8 p.m., for family, friends and loving ministers to share their love for Mathew and the love of God for each of us!
