Edward O. Fallis, 1930 - 2012 Lt. Col. USAF (Ret.) Edward O. Fallis, Jr., born Louisville, Kentucky, September 13, 1930, died May 26, 2012 in San Antonio, Texas. Graduated from Louisville Male High School in 1948 and the University of Louisville in 1952. After serving in the United States Marine Corps, he entered the United States Air Force, which he served for twenty years. In 1972, he earned his J.D. from St. Mary's University School of Law. He worked as an attorney for the City of San Antonio for twenty years, representing the City in the municipal courts and working with the San Antonio drug enforcement task force. After retiring from the City of San Antonio, he taught Criminal Justice at Palo Alto College for sixteen years. Ed loved flying and playing golf. Gifted with a lovely voice, he sang in the San Antonio Choral Society and the San Antonio Symphony Mastersingers, as well as in church and community choirs. He will be remembered for his quick wit and articulate judgment of current events. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Martha Joan McCoy, and his parents, Edward O. Fallis, Sr. and Hattie Roberts Fallis.
