Leo was born December 6, 1920 in Meckling, SD. He was a World War II Veteran. He married Alice Lawrence on July 11, 1946. They moved to Red Wing in 1963. Leo and Alice owned and operated Leo's Burnside Market until 1979. They then retired to travel and spend time with their family.
