The death was announced today of Jack Bailey, the well known blacksmith, who had for years conducted a blacksmith shop on Broad street, Globe, near the bridge. He died at his residence at Sutherland and Yuma Streets of Bright's Disease. He was a native of New York state, and had resided in Globe for 15 years. He leaves a widow and several grown sons. No arrangements for the funeral have as yet been made.
