Lucinda Martha Seehorn was born in La Grange, Lewis County, Missouri at her Aunt Helen Olds home. The family had lived in Fall Creek, Adams County, Illinois near Quincy and were moving south to Missouri. They were moving with Lula's mother's brother Richard and a group of people from Illinois in search of land. Ruben and Emmett and family crossed the frozen Missippi and waited for the birth of Lula, while the rest of the froup went on to Missouri. Lula was born July 20, 1869. The family arrived and perhaps the land was not available or they didn't like it. The family moved to Emporia, Lyon, Kansa by 1870 and to Ninniscah township, Cowley County, Kansas by 1873. In 1880 Ruben , Emmett, George, Lula and James went to Leadville to seach for gold. Mary,Josie, and Maggie were married and remained in Kansas. Lucinda had a baby girl in 1886 in Leadville, Lake county, Colorado. In 1893 Lula married to Frederick J. Mabie. A girl is supposed to have been born name Eva, No records of her exsist. Lula married Francis Childs Moore in 1897 and a child Violet Moore was born about 1899 in California. Frank and Lula divorced in 1908 in Nevada. Lula remarried about 1912 to Oscar T Beaver. They lived in Udall, Cowley, Kansas athe rest of her life. She died in 1948 in Udall, Kansas.
