TALLULAH - Phyllis Williams died Sunday, October 14, 2007, at her home in Tallulah. She was 48.
Born in Madison Parish, Mrs. Williams was a lifelong resident of Tallulah. She was a member of Parkview Baptist Church and served as secretary for attorney E.H. Lancaster Jr.
She was preceded in death by her father, Alfred Holmes; and her husbands, Andy Henson and Allen Williams.
Survivors include her mother, Bonnie Holmes of Tallulah; one daughter, Laura Williams of Tallulah; two sons, Michael Henson Sr. and Phillip Henson, both of Tallulah; a sister, Karen Cobb of Tallulah; three brothers, Mark Holmes and Shelby Holmes, both of Tallulah, and Darryl Holmes of Delhi, La.; and four grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Parkview Baptist Church in Tallulah. Burial will follow at Silver Cross Cemetery under the direction of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 5 until 8 tonight at the church.
