Alex entered eternal life on Wednesday, April 11, 2007 at the age of 92. Alex was born December 5, 1914 in Hamtramck, Michigan, the son of Fred and Martha (Naluskovich) Andreychuk. He graduated from Vassar High School. He and Cleta Marcella Somerville were united in marriage February 3, 1951 in Vassar, where they lived and raised their family in a home that he built. Cleta preceded Alex in death in 1996. Alex was employed at Saginaw Chevrolet Transmission for 31 years as a stores clerk. Prior to his employment at Chevrolet he worked at Universal in Frankenmuth. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Vassar. He enjoyed music, gardening, fishing, and travel. Surviving Alex are his children: Dale Andreychuk of Vassar, Michigan; Gail (Jerry) Josef of Wellington, Florida; and Alfred Andreychuk of Evanston, Illinois. Alex was blessed with six grandchildren: Eric, Matthew, and Nicholas Andreychuk and Katharine (Alex) Milton, John and Bryan Josef. Alex's sister, Stella Mattison, also survives him.
