Rites Are Saturday For Sgt. Bonderer
Rosary Service for Soldier Who Died in Vietnam Are Friday.

Funeral services for Sgt. Thomas Edward (Tom) Bonderer, 24, who lost his life in combat in Vietnam on May 1, will be held at 10 o'clock Saturday morning at St. Columban's Catholic Church. The body was to arrive in Kansas City at 12;55 o'clock this afternoon and was to be brought to the Gordon Home for Funerals. The rosary service will be at 7:30 o'clock Friday evening at the Gordon chapel. Burial will be in St. Columban's cemetery. The family request no flowers. Contributions in memory of Sergeant Bonderer may be made to the St. Columban's church building fund. Sergeant Bonderer is survived by his mother; three brothers, Maj. Lawrence F. Bonderer, Okinawa; Drury J. Bonderer, Jr., Gallatin, and James W. Bonderer, Lincoln, Neb.; three sisters, Mrs. Raymond (Betty) Radcliff, Chillicothe, and Mrs. Vern (Julia) Goetting, Carrollton, and 21 nieces and nephews.
