Sam died in WWII on the 16th of June, 1944 in Normandy, France and his body was returned home for burial by train where Scott Hurst Funeral Home handled the service.. He was buried on 6th June 1948 at our family cemetery next to his father, Vince G. Lowe.
Direction to Cemetery:
Located on Spring Drive just east of the Belfast area. From Lebanon take Rt. 19 east toward Claypool Hill. Go past the Belfast area and turn right on Spring Hill Road. Go across Indian Creek and turn left on the next road, Spring Drive. Follow Spring Drive till it makes U turn and there will be a driveway that continues straight ahead. Go up the driveway to the house and the cemetery will be on the hill to the right of the house.
