Birth Name: William Robert Sabiegai, Parents: Frederick Sabiegai and Henrietta (Guse) Sabiegai
During years 1910-1925: Bill was raised by: Adoptive Parents Robert Culmer Anderson (memorial #13558145) & Lillian (Warner) Anderson (memorial # 13558149) in Harwick, PA and assumed their surname. Bill worked at some physically demanding jobs as a young man including hauling timbers for the local Pennsylvania Railroad bridge construction and Shaft Coal Mining. During his long mining career, he sustained and overcame a serious leg injury from an isolated rock fall at Harwick mine circa 1939.
Bill had three older, biological siblings that preceded him in death: Louise H. Bauman Simons, Fred Bauman and Mary Bauman Carter, all raising their families in California
Bill married Lavina Mae Elkin in 14 Mar 1929. She died in 1999 after 70 years of marriage.
They had three children: Doris R. McGeary (Husband: Frank), Mary Louise Carnahan (Husband: Harry) , Robert F. Anderson (Wife: Shirley Callen). Several Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren.

Bill was an active member of his local churches and communities both in Cheswick, PA, and during retirement in Cocoa, FL. He enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, gardening and playing pool with his friends and family.
