Dies At Son's Home
Mrs. Bertha Cravens, 58. died at noon today at the home Of her son, James Cravens, on the Julien road, after an invalidism of several years.
Funeral services will be held at the grave at Riverside Cemetery Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock. with Dr. P. C. Walker. pastor of the First Baptist Church, officiating
Mrs. Cravens was born Sept. 8, 1881. in the Julien vicinity, the daughter of J. M. and Margaret Maddux. She was a member of the Locust Grove Baptist Church from childhood, being an active member of her denomination until ill health prevented. She had many friends who will mourn her death.
Surviving her are the following children: one daughter, Miss Ada Cravens, of Hopkinsville: James Cravens, Julien; Eura Cravens, of Detroit, Mich.; Lucian Cravens, of Hampton, Va.: and Walter Cleo Cravens, of North Christian; also three grandchildren and several brothers and sisters.
