He was a Revoluntionary soldier. He came from Woburn, Mass in 1785, first to Rockingham, Vt and then to Plainfield, NH where he remained until 1793 and then moved to Cornish and settled on the farm entailed on his desendants..He became a prosperous farmer. H married Huldah Webb and they had 9 children. He fought six years for American Independence(inscription on his tombstone).
He and Hulda had nine children
