LeSueur, James Edward, age 80 of Knoxville, died suddenly at home on Sunday, May 20, 2007. He was a devoted Christian and a member of New Covenant Presbyterian Church. He was retired from the U.S. Postal Service accounting department and had served 33 years with the Army Reserve and Army National Guard, 278th with the rank of Master Sergeant. He was a member of North Knoxville Civitan Club.
Preceded in death by by his parents, Harry and Birdie Lee LeSueur; brothers, Harry LeSueur and Chuck LeSueur.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Pearl Walker LeSueur of Knoxville; children: Eddie and wife Sara LeSueur of Powell, Timothy Scott LeSueur of Johnson City, Sherry LeSueur of Knoxville.
Funeral service 2:00 p.m. Thursday New Covenant Presbyterian Church with Rev. Mike Chamberlain officiating. The body will lie in state 1 hour before services at the Church. Interment Highland Memorial Cemetery with Full Military Honors by East Tennessee Veterans Honor Guard. In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to; New Covenant Presbyterian Church, Knoxville. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Rose Mortuary Broadway Chapel.
