Wayne, of Orangefield, passed away Monday in his home with family by his side.
He was a member of the Odd Fellows and First Baptist Church Orangefield and was a former owner of L&R Video and Ford Dump Truck. Wayne enjoyed watching Cubs baseball and spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis Olney Ford Sr and Mae (Turley) Ford; wife, Mary Bell Ford; son, James "Butchie" Ford; and brothers, Louis Olney Ford, Jr. and Billy Joe Ford.
Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Ronnie and Linda Ford; daughter, Donna Gail Ford; grandson and best friend, Chris Ford; siblings, Evelyn Bernard, J.T. Ford and John Ford and sister-in-law, Laverne Granger.
Funeral services at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, August 6, 2009, at Claybar Funeral Home Chapel in Bridge City, Klem Pruitt, officiating. Burial at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens near Bridge City.
