Mrs Georgia Ann Hayes, 82, of Weston, died in a McKinney hospital Monday at 9:50 a.m.
Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday in the Weston Methodist Church, the Rev. Foy Thomas, pastor and the Rev. Ross Bourland officiating. Burial was in Cottage Hill Cemetery, directed by Scott Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Winfred Dickerson, Lois Whitaker, Jack Bilderback, Kenneth Cowan, John Tingle, Dudley Burkett.
Mrs Hayes was born in Tennessee February 28, 1888, a daughter of the late Mr and Mrs Sylvester A. Reeves. Her husband George Edward Hayes, died Sept 5, 1957. She was a member of the Weston Methodist Church.
Survivors are one son, Herman Hayes of Weston and one sister, Mrs H. B. Rigsby of Celina; two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
