SHIPPENSBURG - Rosie M. Appleby, 78, of 4271 Roxbury Road died yesterday in Chambersburg Hospital. She was retired from the former Shirtcraft Co. and was a member of Mongul United Brethren Church.

Surviving are her husband, Raymond B. Appleby; two sons, Harold E. and Ronald L. a daughter, Helen L. Henry, and two sisters, Violet Like and Daisy Aby, all of Shippensburg; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 2: 30 p.m. tomorrow in the Fogelsanger/Bricker Funeral Home. Burial will be in Mongul Cemetery.
