William O. Achenbach, age 78, died Tuesday at Jefferson, N.J. where he lived with a granddaughter for the past five years.
Born at Auburn he was the son of Henry and Emma Staller Achenbach.
He as a resident of Sch. Haven most of his life until moving to New Jersey give years ago.
His wife, the former Bertha Schafer, died in 1959.
He was a former member of Christ Lutheran Church and was presently a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Woodbury, N.J. He was also a member of Carroll Lodge 120 IOOF, Sch. Haven.
Surviving are a son, Sterling, of Lebannon; four grandchildren, nine great-grand children; one sister, Mrs. Gertrude Corby, Sch. Haven.
