Travis Eugene Adams, 39, of Tom Caudle Road, died Sunday, February 5, 2012, from injuries received in an auto accident.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Thursday, February 9, 2012, at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Jay Belk officiating. Burial will follow in Parklawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, February 8, 2012, at the funeral home and other times at the home.
Mr. Adams was born June 27, 1972, in Forsyth County, to Fred Dana Adams Jr. and Retha Lunsford Hinson. He was a tool distributor with Matco Tools. He was preceded in death by a brother, Harley Hinson, who died June 2011.
Surviving are his wife, Tammy Hinson Adams of the home; daughters, Celeste Nicole Jenkins and Linda Michele Jenkins, both of the home; his mother and step-father, Billy Ray Hinson, of Lexington; father and stepmother, Silvia Adams, of King; brothers, Levi Hinson of Lexington, Joseph Rivers of King, and Billy Hinson and wife, Deanna, of Canada; sisters, Wendy Sewell and husband, Jerry, of Texas, Elizabeth Traugber and husband, Rick of California, and Wendy Reynolds of Walnut Cove.
