Rosemary Pangle Briggs
1928-2009

Rosemary Pangle Briggs, age 80, of Beaverton died Feb. 14, 2009 of a stroke. She was born April 28, 1928 in Yellville, AR to Jesse and Bertha (Narramore) Pangle.

Rosemary married Worth M. Briggs, an Air Force Captain - Pilot in 1945. He died in 1961. She attended Business College and worked as a bookkeeper for the Fruit Grower's Association, then the U of O in Community Service and Public affairs. Rosemary was a Lane County resident for 15 years.

She is survived by her sons: Worth M. Briggs III of Sherwood and Mark W. Briggs of Eugene; daughter, Christine L. English of Mapleton; sisters: Moleen Cline of Yakima, WA and Mavis Adams of Eugene; 6 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Service was held Feb 18 in Beaverton with inurnment to be later this Spring in Yakima, WA.
