Ms. Arcuri, age 101, of Fort Edward, passed away peacefully at The Stanton Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Queensbury.

She was the daughter of the late Carmine and Elvira (Sciarretta) Amorosi.

She was a faithful communicant of St. Joseph Church in Fort Edward. She graduated as Salutatorian of the Fort Edward High School Class of 1933. After graduation, she went to work for 20 years at Scott Paper Co. in Fort Edward.

She enjoyed traveling, having been to Hawaii, visited family in Italy, saw Elvis in Las Vegas, sat on the beach in New Hampshire in her 70s, and traveled to New York City and Disney World with her grandchildren.

She also enjoyed eating out well into her 90s and always judged a restaurant by the coffee they served.

She was predeceased by her husband Carl J. Arcuri; a great-grandson Dominic Calabrese; a brother Donald Amorosi; and a sister Rose Barlow.

Left to cherish her memory include her four sons; her grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, including two special nieces.

Services were held at the M.B. Kilmer Funeral Home, 82 Broadway, Fort Edward, NY

A Funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Joseph Church, 164 Broadway, Fort Edward.
