Obituary: Jeanne Anita Cote was born in 1918 in Sanford, ME and passed peacefully on June 21, 2007 at her home at Desert Flower Assisted Living in Scottsdale, AZ. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Her family was everything to her. Jeanne loved baseball especially her San Diego Padres. She enjoyed sailing with her loving husband of 64 years Rt . Teacher and Coach of San Diego Schools, Dan Cote. As a Navy wife of 20 years Jeanne and her family traveled and lived all over the world. Jeanne had a strong Catholic faith that sustained her. She is survived by her loving husband Don, 86, of Scottsdale, AZ and their four children, Daniel of Del Mar, CA and his four children, James and his wife Rebecca of Hamilton, MT and their three children, Richard of Scottsdale, AZ, and Veronica and her husband, James Elson of Scottsdale and their three children. Jeanne was looking forward to the October arrival of her first great-grandchild. A visitation will be held on Monday, June 25, from 5-7 p .m. at Messinger Indian School Mortuary, 7601 E. Indian School Rd. Funeral Mass will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 26 at St. Patrick's Catholic Community, 10815 N. 84th St., Scottsdale.
