Mr. Harvey Edward Fenstermacher Jr.
Harvey Edward Fenstermacher Jr., age 95, of Heartfields at Frederick, formerly of Silver Spring, died Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2011, at Heartfields at Frederick Assisted Living. He was the spouse of the late Margaret Blumenauer Fenstermacher.
He was born Nov. 13, 1915, in Pine Grove, Pa., the son of the late Harvey Edward Fenstermacher Sr. and the late Malonie Herring Fenstermacher.
Mr. Fenstermacher was a retired FBI special agent. He worked on the House Appropriations Committee. He was also a member of the Society of Former Special Agents.
Surviving are daughter and son-in-law, Jean and Bishop Philip Zampino of Brunswick; daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Dennis Engroff of Queensbury, N.Y.; son and daughter-in-law, T. Edward and Carol Fenstermacher of Silver Spring; nine grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Ada Romagna.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, at the Life in Jesus Chapel, 13830 St. Benedict Way, Union Bridge, where funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 21, with Bishop Philip Zampino officiating. Interment will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens in Frederick.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Society of Former Special Agents of the FBI, 3717 Settler Park Drive, Dumfries, VA 22025.
