OAKLEY, Aug. 12 - Mrs. Anna C. Dayley, 81, pioneer woman of Oakley, died at her home at 2 o'clock yesterday afternoon at Oakley, following a paralytic stroke suffered earlier this week. Her husband, Jacob Dayley, died about 28 years ago.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon at the L.D.S. tabernacle in Oakley. The body will lie in state at the family home Monday morning until time for the service.
Interment will be in the Oakley cemetery under the direction of Vern B. McCullough of the Burley funeral home.
Mrs. Dayley was born at Alingsas, Sweden, March 8, 1858, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Anders Eliason.
Surviving her are two sisters, Mrs. Clara Mathews of Oakley and Mrs. Etta Whitehouse of Tooele, Utah; five daughters, Mrs. Clara Hudsen of El Monte, Calif., Mrs. Ida Guymon of Logan, Utah, Mrs. Penola Hale of Oakley, Mrs. Sarah Foxley of Kirkland, Wash, and Mrs. Zetta Height of Wenatchee, Wash.; and three sons, J. Newell Dayley of Murtaugh, James E. Dayley of Elko, Nev., and Lee Dayley of Ogden, Utah.
