Gordon L. Bartholomew

LINDSBORG – Gordon L. Bartholomew, 75, Lindsborg, died Tuesday, July 23, 1996, at Lindsborg Community Hospital.

Mr. Bartholomew was born March 2, 1921, at Alton and was a resident of Lindsborg since 1994, moving from Riverdale, Ga. He was a retired research engineer for Air Treads, Inc., Atlanta. He was a member of Evangelical Covenant Church, Lindsborg.

Survivors include his wife, Marjorie of Lindsborg; a son, Eric of St. George; two daughters, Gloria Nelson of Annandale, Va., and Carolyn Stonehocker of Wheaton, Ill.; a brother, Kenneth of Alton; and two grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Evangelical Covenant Church, Lindsborg, the rev. Lyle R. Person officiating. Burial will be at 3 p.m. Saturday in Stockton Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the church in care of the funeral home.

Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. Friday at Hays Funeral home, Washington and Lincoln Streets, Lindsborg 67456, where the family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday.
