Ruby L. Brannon, 81, of Waxahachie died in her home Saturday evening August 16, 2003. She was born March 19, 1922 in Bristow, OK. She married Olen Brannon and resided in Oklahoma City, OK. for 36 years.Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law: Beverly and Dan Batte; two granddaughters, Lisa Batte and Dana Batte-Walker and her husband Brint Walker; one sister, Edna Shipley-Conner of Hayward, CA.; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Olen Brannon, her parents Jesse and Mildred Shipley; three sisters and one brother. Interment followed in the (Smithwick Park) Italy Cemetery.
