Philarder Leroy Blackstone, better known as "Bud" died at 3:20 Wednesday a.m. Dec 24, 1947, at Cambridge, Ohio, He was born Feb 10, 1861 in Miller Co, Missouri, Being 86 years, 10 months & 14 days old.
He was married to Alice Gibson, May 24, 1883, to this union was born two sons, Wilbur deceased, Scott of Chandlersville, Ohio. She died June 7, 1888.
On Aug 23 Rd 1893 he was married to Sarah Bertha Richey, to this union was born a daughter who died in infancy, a son Riley of New Concord, she died June 7, 1841.
Surviving are 13 grandchildren & 12 great grandchildren.
He was a member of the old Presbyterian Church in Claysville.
He came to Ohio at the age of 5 years and has lived near Claysville & the community practically all his life.
