Died, at 1:30 o'clock Saturday morning, March 22, 1913, at the residence of her son, Brice A. Ballou, in St. Louis, of a complication of diseases, Mrs. Mary Jane Ballou, widow of the late George A. Ballou, aged 77 years, one month and 26 days. Deceased was born near Loami, but had resided in this city the greater part of her life. She was married to George A. Ballou Sept. 23, 1864.
Surviving are four sons, J. W. Ballou of Kansas City, Brice Ballou of St. Louis, George Allen of Sacramento, Cal., and Frank O. Ballou of this city.
The remains arrived in this city yesterday afternoon and were taken to the residence of her son, J. W. Ballou, 318 South State street. The funeral will be held this afternoon at the Central Baptist church. The interment will be made in Oak Ridge cemetery. IL State Register, Springfield, IL 3-23-1913
