James Dexter Arrington, 73, passed away Monday, April 5, 2010 at his home.

James was born October 31, 1936 to parents Albert and Trusby Arrington in Lynch, KY. James was a veteran of the Air Force. He was an avid bird watcher, enjoyed cross word puzzles and spending time gardening vegetables and flowers. Over the years he amassed a large collection of die cast miniature cars and he loved sports, especially the Cleveland Cavaliers. James retired in 1998 after 30 years as a crib attendant at Chrysler.

James is survived by his wife Nina, daughter Felecia Arrington, and his son Jeffrey Arrington. He is survived also by his brothers; Albert (Betty) Arrington and Charles Arrington. He also leaves two special young adults that were close to his heart in Kyle and Heather Sumner and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his sisters; Peggy Collius, Nancy Houge, and Diana Dingus and his brothers; Bill Arrington and Bobby Arrington.

Family will receive visitors on Sunday, April 11th, from 2:00 - 4:00 PM at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna, where funeral services will be held on Monday, April 12th at 12:00 PM with Reverend Dallas Sanford officiating. Interment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Ravenna.
