Mrs. Delight Adams Dies at Her Home in Hume.
Mrs. Delight Adams, an aged and well respected lady of Hume, died at her home at about 4 o'clock Saturday morning. Mrs. Adams was eighty years of age last January, and is one of the old settlers of the community. She was born in Oneda county, N. Y., and came to Whiteside county in 1857. She was a widow of the late Ezra Adams who died about twenty years ago. She leaves her son, William H. Adams, of Prophetstown and a daughter, Mrs. Susan C. Reed, of Cleveland, O., who, however, has been with her mother for several weeks. Mrs. Adams was a well known lady in that section of the country, and was beloved by all who knew her.
