Mr. Brian Clarence Bayne, 53 of Hortense, passed away early Tuesday morning (March 29, 2011) at his residence following an extended illness.
Born on May 13, 1957 in Kenningston, Pennsylvania, Mr. Bayne had lived many years in Gosport, Indiana before moving to Hortense 8 years ago. He had retired from General Motors after 28 years and loved working in the garage with his best bud and adopted dad, Gary Manion. He hated the winters because of the wood cutting involved and was excited about moving to the warm weather of South Georgia.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard Thomas and Betty Jean Lehman Bayne.
Survivors include his wife, Tammi Pearson Bayne of Hortense; two sons, William Joseph Bayne (wife Nicole) of Evansville, IN and Duane Bayne (fiancé Heather O'Neal) of Hortense; two sisters, Bonnie Campbell (husband Bob) of Mooresville, North Carolina and Barbra Bayne of Indianapolis, IN; two brothers, Gary Bayne of Indianapolis, IN and Ronnie Bayne (wife Nancy) of Glenshaw, Pennsylvania; a step sister, Susie Hauser of Indianapolis, IN; a sister-in-law Pam Wren (husband Rick) of Indianapolis, IN; two brothers-in-law, Randy Pearson (wife Tana Marie) of Hortense and Steve Pearson (wife Robin) of Brownsburg, IN; three grandchildren, Shawn Levi Bayne, Samantha Kaylee Bayne and Shane Riley Bayne; three nieces, Angie Pitzer (husband Mike), Randee Marie Pearson and Stevee Jo Pearson; and numerous other relatives.
Memorialiazation is by cremation.
