Ernest C. Anderson

A retired employe of Elk River Coal and Lumber Co. at Widen died yesterday in a Charleston hospital. The death of Ernest C. Anderson, 75, of Pinch was attributed to a heart condition.

He was a member of Walnut Grove Methodist Church on Strange Creek.

Surviving are his wife, Rosa; four sons, John E. of Pinch, M. C. of Anjean, James of Malden and William of Camden-on-Gauley; three daughters, Mrs. Lonnie Lanham of Charleston, Mrs. Harry Fletcher of Camden-on-Gauley and Mrs. Ethel Martin of Greenbelt, Md.; three sisters, Mrs. Erie Dunahoe and Mrs. Effie Hargett, both of St. Petersburg, Fla., and Mrs. Myrtle Hill of Richwood; a brother, E. L. Anderson of Parkersburg; 16 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

The body is at Hafer Funeral Home in Elkview.

Services will be Sunday at 2 p. m. at the Walnut Grove Methodist Church near Widen with the Rev. C. W. Pugh officiating. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery.

The body will be removed to the church one hour before the services.
